Car Accident - Rescue Box 93-30

At the intersection of Ivyland Road and York Road a Ford Crown Victoria skidded
out of control
and overturned when the wheels collided with the curb in front of the K-Mart
Shopping Center
Engine 93 arrived on scene and pulled a 1-3/4" hand line for protection.
(No fire was present)
Additional Engine 93 personnel began stabilizing the vehicle.
Rescue 90 arrived on scene to rescue the driver of the vehicle.
Emergency Medical Personnel check on the patient before extrication begins.
The patient is suspended upside-down by the seat belt in the vehicle.
Using Hydraulic Cutters the driver's side door is cut off at the hinges by
Rescue 90 personnel.
The patient is carefully moved onto the backboard.
Squad 122 was not available for response.
Medic 129 covered this incident.
With the cooperation of all personnel, the patient was safely
removed from her vehicle and transported to the hospital.
